finally, i watched 881,a singapore film shot in a few years back, just a few hours ago. it swirls mostly around family love, be it biological one or otherwise.
as if u were having a ride, lumbering through the way, with photos and polaroids of various scenes, persons, substances, atmospheres and et cetera, hanging on either side, and u had glimpses on them.until u had reached the destination, u eventually realize an aspect of fact of a life. indeed, those belong to some singsong girls' lives. those captured moments are their laughters, joy, difficulties, glory....and their lives, after all.
lastly, i realize, in fact, there are some who are looking forward for the seventh month of chinese lunar year to come, when they are spiritually moved by the songs presented by ones' beloved party and somehow, witness or feel the presence of another beloved one after demise, among the crowd,huming the tunes with tears streaming down on cheeks.
