Hi. It has been a long time since I last updated my blog.yes, it is amid Chinese New Year festival still. :)
School was out last week and I started my practicum five days ago. I guess I am now qualified, or I have the right to speak out as an education officer pertaining to a teacher's role.
perhaps u r alert of how weary a teacher's working life is, but perhaps its out of ur hallucination? :)
waking up early in the morning and reaching school early like what secondary school students do everyday, sitting in front of the laptop, locking eyes on the screen and start to type lesson plans, replying emails, applying for contests, contacting parents, inputting students marks, attending meetings and seminars and etc...
yes, every single thing u receive say the consent form, contest form ( hey, if u receive this, dont grumble 'gosh, y me again? I am sick of joining the competition. I have plenty assignments to do...' Instead u must feel honored, as u r chosen by the teacher, u r qualified to enter the contest! how glad and how proud it is, right?) essay, worksheet and etc, in fact there is colossal input of time, energy and effort by teachers behind, say they have to do negotiation, they have to stay back after working hours to mark ur papers and essays ( u have only ur own one copy, however, there are numbers of students in a class, plus the fact that a teacher doesnt only teach a class, therefore, all together, how many copies of papers and essays a teacher has to mark? )
im not complaining. it's the truth, and the vision and purpose of having all this truth happens is that, to see the growth and improvement of students during the progression of education, not only academically, but also physically and psychologically. After all, it is dedicated to the best of students and to lead them transmuting into well-beings. =)
*Do appreciate every single little thing appears around you....*

New year resolution. It seems to be pretty late talking about it. However, I learned that, you needn't come out with a long chant of words as that.Just a few words. make it sound.
" I haven't talked with you about your new year resolution."
It struke me and my mind went blank at that point of time.
"oh ya, what's my new year resolution, i haven't come to think about it. gosh." deep inside my heart, it says so.
" Must it be something to do with christianity or spiritual life?" I questioned.
"Nope, not necessary." was the answer.
I pondered. Finally, I realized that, recently what i've been trying and wanting to do, is what can be considered as my new year resolution.
I am glad I found my new year resolution. at least im not alone. at least i live with aims. what about u?
It was just a simple sentence I uttered. in fact, just a few words and it turned to be my new year resolution. notwithstanding the amount of words, the profound effects it may bring in the future in ur life just somehow somewhat unleash immensely and tremendously.

In fact, I refrained myself from reading the last tuesday Mitch spent together with Morrie coz it meant that, Mitch was going to die. Embrace it, is what Mitch and I have to learn. I love Morrie's aphorism on 'Detached'. Once felt and went through, stay away from it nxt time. Say grief, every one went through the consequences and the atmosphere that grief leads to right, yeah, how did u feel at that moment? or, anger? how do u feel while u r holding on anger? :) Once u felt and went through it, ya, isolate urself and stay away from it. it is, to stay detached! :)
I hope to finish it soon! :) It's a story about a mom and a daughter in Afghan.I havent started reading yet, but, i believe, words and lines, where I distill my own aphorism from bring me foods for thought. :)

Tomorrow, I stay detached from abundance and sophistication. Back to basics. Tanjong pinang, here i am..!
