The most recent movie I have watched. Like Red Cliff, it gives me a quick glance at a part of Ming dynasty.
Jin Yi Wei was an assassin who assisted the Emperor to inspect, to kill and to detect those who wanted to strike rebellion against his authority. Once a Jin Yi Wei, there wouldn't be ways for you to return, unless you die...
It's a nasty point about China history. Controversially, due to the mistakes made during the past, we are now driven to seek for peace, for a better life.
